Well, I'm Rachel from Rachel Moore Social Media.
I'm a Harrogate based 7 x award winning social media trainer and consultant. I also public speak about social media and manage accounts on behalf of other businesses. With 11 years of experience I'm absolutely hands on when it comes to social!
Prior to social media I was in sales and prior to that I was a shareholding director in an advertising and marketing agency way back when! I went into sales to have advertising, marketing and sales on my CV. Then when my daughter was born I wanted more flexible hours so I went self-employed with a network marketing company.
I took that business online in 2008. I won't lie, it was hard work, as all my marketing experience was pre-digital and I didn't know much about the emerging new digital world.
Not being one for quitting, I rolled up my sleeves and dug in and learned all I needed to know. I was totally hooked and blown away by all the things you could do online to promote and grow your business for FREE, it simply amazed me.
Right from the start of my online journey there was this little voice inside my head that kept saying "If you're finding this difficult with your advertising and marketing background, how on earth are other business owners going to cope?" It was at that point I knew what I needed to do to help other businesses on their online journey. That's when I set up Rachel Moore Social Media - and the rest is history 🥰
