LinkedIn™ – ID Confirmation Service Is Gaining Momentum

It seems like LinkedIn’s efforts to verify actual humans in the app are paying off, with the platform reporting that it’s now verified 55 million of its members. Have you Verified as yet? I haven’t!

LinkedIn™ – Shares Latest EU User Data

One of the more annoying elements of LinkedIn’s performance reporting is the lack of context that it provides for its data points.

For some reason, ever since the platform was acquired by Microsoft back in 2016, LinkedIn has opted to only provide part of the story for all of its reported metrics. 👉 For example 👈

LinkedIn™ – Is Retiring Celebration Post Templates

LinkedIn has announced that the platform will be retiring illustrated templates for Appreciation, Welcome and Skill Assessment Badge posts. Existing posts with these templates will be removed within the next month.

Meta™ – You Can Now Create A Facebook Broadcast Channel Directly From Instagram

Instagram enabled cross-posting between linked channels a while ago, and now you can create your Facebook channel directly from Instagram and link it to your Instagram channel.

Instagram™ – Chief Recommends Posting Carousels To Improve Reach

That’s the latest advice from Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, who’s provided some pretty logical notes on why carousels are valuable for increasing reach.

Snapchat Showcases New Spectacles AR Experiences

Snapchat has showcased some of the first AR experiences built with its new AR Spectacles device, which it unveiled at its partner summit last month.

The new experiences, created by developers with early access, highlight the interaction possible with the glasses, and how they could be used in real world scenarios.

Instagram™ – Logos On Reels

We were told in no uncertain terms by Adam Mosseri, Instagram’s Chief that if you leave a TikTok logo on your Reel it will have less impact but is it the same if you add your own logo? Adam Morsseri explains...

LinkedIn ™- Company Pages

Having employees ‘comment’ on a company post instead of ‘sharing’ will have much more of an impact.

LinkedIn™ – Profile

Make sure you end your LinkedIn ‘About Section’ with a CTA (call to action) and contact details. Visitors won’t be able to click through, but they will be able to copy and past.
