Rachel’s Social Snippets #32 – I wondered what had happened to Nick Clegg (well for 30 seconds or so I did 🤣🤣) but I can’t say I ever thought he’d have ended up working there!
Happy New Year to you all, I hope you had a lovely festive season and are now fully refreshed and ready to take on 2025.
You’ll notice that there’s been a change to the ‘Social Media Quick Tips’, it’s been replaced with ‘Digital Quick Tips’. I thought these would prove more useful to you than just social media tips. Plus it means I can include tips from guests 🥰
So let’s see what’s been happening in social media over the last week or so whilst we’ve all being having fun👇

TikTok™ – Shares Insights Into Its Value as a Shopping Tool
With TikTok on the brink of being removed from the U.S., the timing of this report’s release is particularly interesting.

Online Shopping Reached New Highs in 2024 [Infographic]

Did you know…
Your Username doesn’t have to be the same as your Profile Name? In fact, if it is, you’re missing a huge trick. Your Username doesn’t even have to be your company name.
For better discoverability your Profile Name should use keywords to describe what your company does in 2-5 words.
For example:
Username – BakedByChristie
Profile Name – Celebration Cakes | Solihull
This is a much better use of the Profile Name section rather than just repeating your Username as so many businesses do.
