Meta has confirmed that it’s expanding its protections on teen user accounts to all teens around the world who are using Instagram and Facebook, which will ensure greater protections for young users, as well as additional peace of mind for parents.
Meta™ – Facebook and Instagram To Offer Subscription For No Ads In The UK
Over the coming weeks, Meta will give people in the UK the choice to subscribe to stop seeing ads on Facebook and Instagram.
Meta™ – Introducing Vibes: A New Way to Discover and Create AI Videos

Meta is rolling out Vibes, a new feed of AI videos at the centre of the Meta AI app. You can bring your ideas to life with new AI visual creation tools or remix an existing video by adding music or changing the style to make it your own.
Instagram™ – Is Working On Story Scheduling In-App

LinkedIn™ – Launches Company Intelligence API
LinkedIn’s looking to help marketers glean more insight into campaign performance, via a new Company Intelligence API, which will feed on-platform performance data back into your CRM, where it can be directly matched with campaign details to better correlate your on-platform ad spend.
TikTok™ – ByteDance Will Keep 50% Of US TikTok Profits
TikTok’s Chinese owner is poised to keep roughly half the profits from the app’s US business.
YouTube™ – Adds New Comment Filters, Highlights For Livestreams
The new comment filters will make it easier to stay on top of interactions.
WhatsApp™ – Rolls Out In-Stream Translation for Messages
WhatsApp is rolling out a new message translation option in-stream, which will enable users to translate messages into another language direct in their chats, while also keeping those messages on your phone, and end-to-end encrypted, as opposed to processing them through external servers.
Instagram ‘Edits’ Video App…
Instagram created Edits to combat TikTok’s CapCut and it’s good, very good. It’s easy to use but the feature I like the best is the built in teleprompter – it’s super cool.
That said, CapCut have just announced that you can now upload videos directly to LinkedIn from within their app!
