LinkedIn™ – Outlines Measures To Combat Engagement Pods

Finally LinkedIn are looking to crack down on automated comments submitted via third-party tools, in response to user concerns about an influx of non-genuine activity.
I’m not surprised by this. LinkedIn has been nudging us toward genuine interaction for a while now — and this reinforces why quality engagement will always outperform shortcuts.

Meta™ – Launches Manus AI Integration In Ads Manager

Meta has taken the next steps in its integration of Manus AI, with some Meta advertisers now being informed that they can access Manus functionality within Ads Manager direct.
AI is clearly becoming more embedded in ad platforms. Useful, yes — but it still needs human strategy behind it to make it commercially effective.

Meta™ – Looks To Sneak Through Facial ID Update

Meta could be looking to sidestep scrutiny on the update by launching it amid political turmoil.
Privacy conversations around Meta never really disappear. If this progresses, it’s one to watch carefully from a trust and compliance perspective.

Instagram’s™ – Chief Says He Does Not Believe People Can Get Clinically Addicted To Social Media

In a landmark social media trail in LA, Mosseri disagrees with the idea that people can be clinically addicted to social media platforms.
An interesting stance, particularly given the ongoing scrutiny around screen time and wellbeing. The broader conversation about responsible platform use isn’t going away.

General

Russia Blocks WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram Access

Russian authorities are pushing users toward the government-owned Max app instead.
A reminder that access to platforms isn’t universal or guaranteed. It’s always wise not to build your entire presence on one channel alone.

OpenAI Introduces New Safeguards in ChatGPT To Prevent AI Prompt Injection

OpenAI has added a new Lockdown Mode and an “Elevated Risk” warning label to ChatGPT, both designed to protect users from prompt injection attacks that can trick AI into leaking sensitive data.
Encouraging to see stronger safeguards being introduced. As AI becomes more integrated into business workflows, security needs to evolve alongside it.

ChatGPT

Did you know you can create Projects inside of ChatGPT?

Projects are basically just folders you can create enabling you to keep all your related chats together. Making life so much easier when trying to locate a specific chat.

How

Log in, go to the left hand menu and you’ll see ‘Projects’. It’s that simple.

Oh and by the way, you can move existing chats into a Project by locating the chat you wish to move, then clicking on the 3 dots to the right hand side of the chat name. Simple housekeeping 🥰

Also, did you know you can have a Group chat which enables you to have multiple people’s input into your chat 😮

How

Log in, navigate to the top right hand corner where you’ll see an icon of a person with a + on it, hover over it and ‘start group chat’ appears.
