LinkedIn Tagging
Tagging is another area I get asked about a lot. Here’s how I tend to approach it:
- Only tag people who are genuinely relevant to the post. Those featured in it or directly connected to what you’re sharing. (Tagging people you’d like to see it, but who don’t know you, rarely lands well.)
- Keep tags in the main post to around 3 or 4 people so it stays easy to read.
- If you need to tag more people, add them in the comments instead. This keeps the post looking cleaner and avoids it feeling cluttered or forced.
