UK Proposes Social Media Curfew For Under-16s To Protect Sleep & Mental Health
The British government is proposing a social media curfew for users under 16, banning access between 11pm and 6am, and requiring platforms to disable addictive features like infinite scroll, autoplay, and notifications by default for minors. The measures aim to protect adolescent mental health and sleep patterns.

Why The LinkedIn Algorithm Matters
LinkedIn has reportedly said that more than 1.8 million feed updates are viewed every minute in the app.
That is a lot of content for LinkedIn to sort through. So the algorithm matters because it helps decide:
✅ Who sees your posts
✅ Which posts appear higher in the feed
✅ Whether your content is shown beyond your immediate followers
✅ Which topics LinkedIn starts to associate with you
In simple terms, LinkedIn is trying to match the right content with the right people. That means your content needs to be clear. If you regularly post about lots of unrelated things, LinkedIn may find it harder to understand what you want to be known for and who your content is most relevant to.
But if your profile, posts and engagement all point in roughly the same direction, you give LinkedIn clearer signals. So no, you don’t need to “game the algorithm”, you just need to help it understand you!
