Meta has released a new tool called AI Studio, enabling users in the US to create AI characters on Instagram or the web to interact with followers on their behalf. No doubt this will be rolling out to the UK sometime soon.

LinkedIn™ – Reports Higher Revenue & ‘Record Levels’ Of Engagement

Microsoft™ has published its latest performance numbers, which also incorporate LinkedIn™ data for the fiscal Q4 period ended June 30, 2024.

And guess what? LinkedIn™ saw “record engagement” once again in the period.

This will allow filtering of posts by date and profile 😱

WhatsApp™ – Could Soon Get Instagram’s Double-Tap To React Gesture

The gesture will let users quickly react to messages with the heart emoji.

General – Microsoft Declares OpenAI As Competitor

Microsoft™ has officially listed OpenAI as a competitor in AI, search, and news advertising in its latest annual report, signalling a shift in their relationship.

Despite Microsoft™ being the largest investor and exclusive cloud provider for OpenAI, both companies are now encroaching on each other’s market territories.

  • 1.5 million pieces of content are shared every minute on LinkedIn™
  • Premium sign ups increased 51% this fiscal year – no surprise there then when they take away important features from the free version and add them into the paid version 😥
  • More than 13K connections are made per minute.
  • Approximately 138 hours of learning content is consumed every minute – WOW, I wish that was all my content 😂😂😂

Instagram™ – New Feature

You can now start a group chat from a Story on Instagram when you tag 2 or more people.
