Instagram™ – Launches Repost Feature, Friend Map & Friends Tab
Last week Instagram launched several new ways to help you better connect with your friends. People have always come to Instagram to share what they’re up to and where they are. Now, with reposts, the map, and the “Friends” tab in Reels, it’s easier for you and your friends to stay in touch through the content you’re enjoying on Instagram.

After announcing its new Friend Map feature last week, Instagram has been flooded with misguided complaints and concerns about how the new feature will expose people’s locations without them knowing, potentially putting millions of people at risk.
Instagram™ – Chief Dispels Engagement Myth, Says Using Edits Boosts Reach
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri has recently shared a couple of small tips that might help. I mean, they’re not secrets or hacks that are going to triple your post reach overnight, but they might help somewhere within your process
TikTok™ – Adds A Service Bio Feature To Livestreams
Hosts can now highlight services directly in their stream bio, making it easier for viewers to see what’s offered during live sessions.
YouTube™ – Is Testing Creator Collabs Similar To Instagram & TikTok
Another repackaged social media feature has hit YouTube.

Did you know you can now use an app inside of Canva to change the background of an image?
All you need to do is create your project in the normal way, insert your required image in the normal way, click on the image, click ‘edit’ in the menu bar at the top and then click on the app ‘BG Generator’. Then describe your new background.
As you can see, click here, I’ve gone from sitting at my kitchen island to sitting in a café, literally within seconds 😲
Another feature you might not have noticed which is excellent, is the ‘Background Remover’ which sits on the top menu bar next to the edit button. It’s not a new feature but it’s well worth using.
Both these are pro features but I highly recommend them.
