LinkedIn™ – Adds New Animations For Professional Announcements
Your announcements on LinkedIn are getting a refresh, with LinkedIn launching an updated set of achievement animations and images, which will provide a fresh look to these posts in-stream.
LinkedIn™ – Expands Newsletter Access, Teases Premium SMB Package
LinkedIn will now enable all users to create a newsletter, no matter how many followers they have in the app, while it’s also added a new option to help small businesses boost their in-app engagement.
LinkedIn™ – Adds More Post-Level Analytics Updates
LinkedIn has rolled out a new update to its post analytics, which will provide users with rolling updates as to how their posts are driving views and follower growth, along with impressions.
Meta™ – Is Consolidating More Of Its Detailed Ad Targeting Options
Remember how a couple of months back, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was like “soon, we’re going to fully automate all advertising, you just give us you’re URL and we’ll do the rest?”
Well Meta’s already well on its way towards this, through its ever-improving AI targeting and bidding tools, as well as its generative AI creative and re-formatting options.
And now, it’s taking the next steps, with a new notification in Meta Ads Manager alerting advertisers of the removal/consolidation of more detailed targeting options.
TikTok™ – Implements Hashtag Limit
Some users are now being told that TikTok has instituted a five hashtag limit on posts, restricting the amount of topic tags that you can append to your TikTok clips.
Russia Restricts WhatsApp™ & Telegram™ Usage
As part of its continued attempts to reduce local reliance on foreign tech platforms, Russia has begun restricting calls on both WhatsApp and Telegram, in an effort, Russian authorities claim, to combat criminal activity.

3 Instagram Myths – Busted!
Adam Mosseri has been busting Instagram myths for us. Here are 3 he mentioned recently.
Myth #1: You need to interact with content that is similar to your content to maximize your reach. This is NOT true. You can interact with any content that interests you and it won’t affect your reach at all.
Myth #2: If you write “link in bio” in your caption, it will hurt your post’s reach. This is NOT true either. In fact writing “link in bio” in your caption won’t hurt your reach at all and is actually a great way to get your community to check out more of your content.
Myth #3: Using Instagram’s ‘Edits’ to edit your Reels will help your Instagram reach. Actually this myth is TRUE (well for now anyway!) Since ‘Edits’ is still relatively new, using the app to edit your Reels will help your reach “a little bit” he confirms.
Saving time with Microsoft Copilot

You can install this app from the Google Play store or the Apple store on to your mobile or tablet. It is also available on your PC via the app or when you open your Microsoft 365 home page, the initial page gives you access to use Copilot.
