Meta™ – Previews Updates For Its Edits App

At a webinar celebrating the video-editing platform’s one-year anniversary, the company announced improved captions and better effects customisation.
Meta is turning Edits into a more complete creation tool, which makes producing content easier, but puts more pressure on clarity and substance.

Meta™ – Simplifies Ad Performance Elements

An artificial intelligence-enhanced setup will streamline Meta Pixel, while Conversions API will now offer a one-click option.
Yee ha! Anything to help simplify the CAPI process.

LinkedIn™ – Expands AI-powered Conversational Search

The feature launched to Premium members last year has been expanded sitewide so that all users can access improved query matching.
Search becoming more conversational is a clear signal, your profile and content need to reflect how your audience actually speaks, not just industry jargon.

Instagram™ – Expands ‘Your Algorithm’ Tool To Explore

The feature will now be available to all English-language users and will allow them greater capacity to control what the algorithm shows them.
More control for users sounds like a positive step.

Threads™ – Catches Up: Desktop DMs And Web Overhaul Signal Meta’s Push For Power Users

Meta’s Threads rolls out a web redesign with desktop direct messages, sidebar navigation, and feed shortcuts to woo power users. The update, previewed by head Connor Hayes, closes a year-long gap since mobile DMs launched.
This feels like a shift from experimental to serious platform. One to watch if your audience values conversation over polished content.

YouTube™ – Adds Custom Timestamp Sharing For Mobile

The change means the video platform is also moving away from Clips, leaving users to seek out third-party advanced clipping tools.
Easier timestamp sharing keeps content in one piece rather than creating clips, which means more of your video needs to hold attention, not just the highlights.

Canva

Did you know there is a feature inside of Canva that can now call on various tools to make designs for you.

Basically you can describe your task to the ‘AI assistant’, let it plan the task and use the relevant tools for you. It can also keep your preferences in mind for future tasks. You can find the AI Assistant on the left hand menu bar inside of Canva.

Instagram Edits

Instagram Edits, a free, mobile-first video editing app developed by Meta, is to Instagram what CapCut is to TikTok. However, Edits has a teleprompt feature which is well worth investigating if you are creating videos and using a separate teleprompt software.

Work With Me wording on banner for Rachel's Social Snippets

A lot of people are posting consistently on LinkedIn and still not seeing results. In many cases, it’s not the content, it’s the profile behind it.

Recent changes mean your profile now influences who actually sees your content. If it’s too vague or outdated, your visibility can quietly drop without you realising.

If you’re unsure whether your profile is helping or holding you back, I offer focused 1–2–1 reviews with practical, straightforward advice on what to improve and what to leave alone.

£125 for a 2-hour session. If it’s been a while since you last reviewed your profile, it’s well worth having a free 20 minute discovery call 🥰
